We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead and oversee AI-driven camera system projects from concept to completion. The Project Manager will work closely with engineering, product, and client teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions that meet client needs. This remote role requires excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills to manage complex projects in the Vision AI domain effectively. The ideal candidate will have experience managing AI or tech-focused projects, working in an agile environment, and handling large-scale enterprise clients.
In this role, you’ll be working directly with industry veterans and IIT alumni, Anoop Mishra and Mandeep Chauhan, the co-founders of Awareye. With decades of combined expertise in AI, machine learning, and industrial technology, our team is driving innovation and transforming industries with advanced computer vision AI solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning & Execution: Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones. Lead project execution, ensuring deliverables are met within scope, time, and budget constraints.
- Client Engagement: Serve as the main point of contact for enterprise clients, keeping them informed about project progress, managing expectations, and addressing any concerns.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with engineering, R&D, and product teams to ensure that project requirements are clearly defined and understood, facilitating smooth communication and collaboration between teams.
- Risk Management: Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to avoid delays and ensure successful project delivery.
- Documentation & Reporting: Prepare regular status updates and reports for internal stakeholders and clients, outlining progress, upcoming tasks, and potential challenges.
- Budget & Resource Management: Manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources. Coordinate with leadership on resource requirements, including team and technology needs.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all deliverables meet Awareye’s high standards of quality and adhere to agreed-upon specifications and client requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in AI, computer vision, or technology-driven projects.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects in an agile environment, with experience in sprint planning, task prioritization, and backlog management.
- Strong client management skills, with a track record of handling enterprise-level clients and managing expectations.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, and experience with client-facing projects.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
- Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or Asana.
- Knowledge of Vision AI technologies and applications (e.g., YOLO, PyTorch, DeepStream SDK) is a strong plus but not required.
Preferred Experience
- Familiarity with AI/ML, vision technologies, or large-scale video analytics projects.
- Experience managing remote teams across different time zones.
- PMP or Scrum certification is a plus.
